Yesterday, February 4 wasWorld Cancer Day. ..I am sure we all know someone who has been diagnosed with this dreadful disease...and I wish there could one day soon be a cure so that no one has to suffer any more.
Tobacco continues to be the number one preventable cause of disease, death and disability in Canada. Tobacco use contributes to 85 percent of lung cancers and 30 percent of all cancer cases. Evidence suggests that it takes a smoker several attempts before quitting successfully. Though smoking is one of the toughest addictions to break, every quit attempt is important.
Do you smoke? Then pay attention to this.."The Driven to Quit Challenge" may give you the extra incentive they need to become smoke-free for good.
