Lend A Helping Hand To Local Cancer Patients And Their Families

Cancer is a serious disease that affects the lives of people all over the world. While we can help find a cure for cancer by donating to specific foundations which collect money to support medical research, we can also help those who are currently suffering from cancer, or who have family members suffering from cancer, by lending our support to the local organization, Transition to Betterness (T2B). T2B provides cancer patients and their families in our community with a comfortable and compassionate hospital setting. T2B is also supports other unique projects which benefit local cancer patients and families touched by this disease. These projects include Hospice Pain Management Program, T2B House within the Hospice Village, and Music Therapy to name a few.

Founded in 1997, T2B was created by Doris Lapico and Tania Sorge, two young local women whose lives and families were affected by cancer. Due to their experiences with this disease, Lapico and Sorge decided to help others in the community battling cancer.

Like these local women who started this organization of giving back, you can help cancer patients in the community as well. T2B is always looking for donations and volunteers to participate in events that will help fund this organization so that it may continue to support members of our community affected by cancer.
