“This has been an amazing experience. As the Young & Free Ontario spokesperson, I attended some really cool community college and university sports events. I got the chance to meet with other people my age who are trying to get a handle on their finances, and share helpful information with them. But now it’s time to pass the torch to the next voice of the 17 to 25 year old age group,” said 2010 Young & Free Ontario Spokester, Keith Reinhart.

The Young & Free Ontario Spokester position is a one-year, paid contract position with a ton of great perks. The successful candidate will be 17-25 years old and will create relationships with Gen Y through interaction at YoungFreeOntario.com and attendance at community events throughout southwestern Ontario. They’ll also interact with the public through Twitter and Facebook.

“Libro Financial Group and United Communities Credit Union are excited to view the creativity and new ideas that the Spokester applicants put forward. We know the 2011 spokester will find his or her own unique way to bring needed and valuable financial information to young adults in southwestern Ontario,” said Krista Wydeven, Libro Communications Specialist.

“Interested 17-25 year olds can visit YoungFreeOntario.com for details and application instructions,” explained Liz Arkinstall, Manager of Community Relations at United Communities Credit Union. “Application deadline is noon, Wednesday, May 11, 2011.”
