Chef Jef White is Owner of Just Jef’s Gourmet Express, which sells prepared gourmet meals for pick up. His treat for battle goers was pan-seared Mushroom Cake with Beet Coulis. 6. The Bull & Barrel Urban Saloon’s Executive Chef Scot Brooks, has his own version of “The Chef That Laid the Golden Egg,” which is Quail Egg, Pork, Corn Bread and a secret sauce. 7. Chef Ammar Jerjees of Taza Mediterranean Grill plated Fattouch, Labeneh, Chicken Tawook with Signature Garlic Sauce, Humous on pita chips with Taza’s Spiced Rice and a Pickled Turnip for guests that appeared to form a never-ending line. 8. Chef Rino Bortolin and his wife Anastasia from Rino’s Kitchen & Ale House, prepared Roasted 7 8 Sweet Potatoes topped with Asian Slow Roasted Pulled Pork with a dollop of Sour Cream, Chives and Maple Syrup. 9. Scott Stevens, Co-Owner of South Detroit/ Chanoso’s, along with Executive Chef James Renaud and Perry Deconomick, presented their Duck Conft Crispy Dumpling with Butter Chicken sauce. 10. The Hummazing trio – Owners Fadi Al- Dandachi (marketing) and Chef Rami Chatley from Windsor, and Tamara Tymchuk, the frst Franchise Owner in Calgary – ofered Hummus Cucumber. Sounds simple, but the taste was anything but! 11. The City Grill’s Chef Shawn McKerness enjoyed a bite of his own Trufe Tortellini. 12. Chef De Partie Ryan Shields of The Windsor Club, prepared an Ahi Tuna dish with Eggplant and White Onions. 13.
